Description: Helicobacter acinonyx were sensitive to metronidazole and cephalothin and resistant to nalidixic acid (no zone of inhibition). In addition, they were sensitive to penicillin, ampicillin, nitrofurazone, erythromycin, genta-micin, chlortetracycline, and chloramphenicol. They were resistant to sulfamethoxazole with trimethoprim and to vancomycin.
