Description: Gram-negative. Individual cells are straight to curved rods, with spherical cells occasionally occurring. Length 1.5-3-0 μm, width 04-0-8 μm. Gas vesicles are formed. Non-motile. Colonies are chalky-white, have a raised elevation and convex circular shape with entire edges. Psychrophilic.
