MICROBULBIFER RHIZOSPHAERAE
| Class: | Gamma Proteobacteria |
| Genus: | Microbulbifer |
| Species: | Microbulbifer rhizosphaerae |
| Description: | Cells are Gram-stain-negative, unable to grow anaerobically with nitrate as terminal electron acceptor, non-spore-forming, non-motile, and catalase- and oxidase-positive.Rod and coccoid–ovoid cells are observed in association with the growth phase. Colonies are sand yellow and turn greenish-brown (NA-salt) or grey (MA) at maturity at 28°C. |
