RHODANOBACTER SPATHIPHYLLI

Class: Gamma Proteobacteria
Genus: Rhodanobacter
Species: Rhodanobacter spathiphylli
Description: Spathiphylli of Spathiphyllum, referring to the isolation source of the first strains, the rhizosphere of Spathiphyllum plants).Cells are Gram-negative, rod-shaped, 0.8x1.5–4.0μm in size and non-motile. They form smooth, circular, yellow colonies as large as 2–3 mm in diameter on nutrient agar and TSA after 48 h incubation at 30°C.
