Regional HabitatCommonly found on hill slopes. Distribution: Churu, jhunjhunu, sikar, jodhpur, ajmer, pali, sirohi, udaipur, dungarpur, jaipur, tonk, bhilwara, bharatpur, kota, swai-madhopur, banswara and jhalawar districts.
DescriptionProstrate herbs, branched from the base. Branches: 1.0-27.0 cm long, sulcate, sparsely hairy and with whitish, warty excrescens. Leaves: petioles 0.3-2.0 cm long, lamina bi-pinnatisect, surfaces glabrous, segments linear, apex apiculate. Flowers: capitula 0.2-0.6 cm across, stalk 0.15-2.1 cm long and glabrous; involucre bracts outer- 3, ovate, acute and inner- 6, oblong, striate abaxially, glabrous, ciliate, apex obtuse. Ray-florets: 0.6 cm long, pappus-awns 2, smooth, ligule and stiff. Disc-florets: 0.6 cm long, corolla yellow, campanulate, lobes 4, acute; anthers 0.05 cm long; cypsels dark-brown, flat, oblong narrow at base, margins densely hairy. Flowers and fruits appears during August - December.
