DescriptionDiffuse, annual herbs. Branched from the base, branches obscurely 4-gonous, scabrescent, 5-12 cm long. Leaves: opposite, often fascicled; stipues membranous, pectinate; sessile; lamina tapering at base, linear, surfaces glabrous, apex acute, margins scabrous. Flowers: 0.3 cm long, borne in 2-10 axillary/extraxillary umbellate cymes; calyx glabrescent, 0.2 cm long; teeth 4, linear-lanceolate; corolla white, margins pink; capsules bilobed, dehiscent transversely, crown flat. Seeds: numerous, brown and ellipsoid. Flowers and fruits appears during September-October.
