Description | Glabrous, perennial herbs. Stem: numerous, decumbent, diffuse, almost leafless. Leaves: radical ones sessile, sinutely lobed or pinnatifid; lobes rounded, margins having cartilaginous teeth. Flowering branches spreading, sparingly dichotomously branched. Flowers: capitula sub-sessile, clustered at the end of branches; involucre campanulate, invol. bracts outer ones ovate, margins membranous, inner ones oblong-lanceolate; pappus-hairs white. Fruits: cypsel oblong, winged, truncate at both ends, white or pale-yellow. Flowers and fruits appears during October to December.
