CASSP is web based interface for backend information resource created for comparative analysis of secondary structure elements from selected extremophilic proteins. At present CASSP comprised of 106 structure from extremophiles categorized into four groups (Hyperthermophiles,Thermophiles, Mesophiles and Psychrophiles).

The interface is quite simple which allows user to select any one of four extremophilic groups viz., Psychrophiles, Mesophiles, Thermophiles and Hyperthermophiles. Once selected the group, users are given four options of further analysis, i.e., Helix, Sheet, Di-sulhide bonds and Residual composition. The results of the analysis are interpreted in tabular as well as graphical form. The present version of CASSP is useful for groupwise comparison of structures which provides the significant information regarding the trend of structural adapatability.
