Enterobacter is a genus of Gram-negative bacteria which belongs to family Enterobacteriaceae.motile by peritrichous flagella facultatively anaerobic.Enterobacter are ubiquitous in nature and can be found in soil,water,sewage and intestinal tracts of animals.Enterobacters are opportunistic and nosocomial pathogens including species such as E. cloacae, E. aerogenes, E. sakazakii, E. gergoviae, and E. agglomerans related with ICU infections and diseases such as skin infections, meningitis, bacteremia.
